In the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park lies HOCHoben - an alpine camping resort and chalet village in a class of its own. Here you can spend your cross-country skiing or ski touring holiday close to nature, individually and directly at the entrance to the high alpine cross-country skiing and touring network of Mallnitz. Sporty cross-country skiers start right on the doorstep of the Sonnenloipe trail towards Seebachtal and Tauerntal - two valleys that have quite rightly been awarded the Carinthian cross-country ski trail seal of approval.
Ski tourers also start their tour directly from the resort. The reception provides adventurers with tips, maps and current snow conditions. Afterwards, the Tauernbad with indoor pool and new sauna area awaits - free of charge for HOCHoben guests. The offer is rounded off by cross-country skiing courses, children's area with magic carpet, tobogganing facilities and cosy evenings in the in-house restaurant.
