Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm 2027

The Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm is a special cross-country skiing experience in South Tyrol. Once a year, Europe’s largest high-altitude alpine pasture is transformed into an extraordinary competition venue, when cross-country skiers take to the perfectly groomed trails under a full moon. Against the impressive backdrop of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an atmosphere is created that uniquely combines sport and nature.

The race is run exclusively in classic style over distances of 15 or 30 kilometres. The varied trails of the Seiser Alm wind through the snow-covered winter landscape, offering an unforgettable experience for both ambitious athletes and experienced amateur cross-country skiers. The nocturnal atmosphere and the impressive mountain backdrop make the Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm one of the most extraordinary cross-country skiing events in South Tyrol.

The event also has its own special charm away from the trails. Spectators and participants can look forward to an atmospheric programme of events featuring South Tyrolean hospitality, regional specialities and a festive awards ceremony. The Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm combines sporting challenge, the enjoyment of nature and alpine tradition, and is a winter highlight on the Seiser Alm. At the same time, with every registration, the event supports young cross-country skiers in South Tyrol, thereby making an important contribution to the promotion of Nordic skiing.
