The cross-country skiing Eldorado of Ramsau am Dachstein has been awarded the Styrian Cross-Country Skiing Seal of Quality. The central starting point for most of the cross-country skiing tours is the cross-country skiing stadium directly in the town of Ramsau. The network of trails is characterised by differing altitudes and various difficulty levels. The location of the Ramsau plateau at over 1,000 m above sea level and the modern snow machine guarantee cross-country skiing pleasure. Snow farming (the “dormancy of snow”) also provides a snow guarantee.
