The Tyrolean Lech Valley is a retreat for nature lovers and cross-country skiers in search of peace and quiet. Away from mass tourism, around about 200 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails stretch through 13 picturesque villages - many of them along the "last wild one", the Lech river. The trails are well marked, offer numerous entry points and lead through snow-covered meadows, forests and across wide fields.
A special highlight: the 40 km long Lechtal trail. As a pleasure & endurance trail, it connects almost all villages in the region. Thanks to the altitude of up to 1,200 metres, snow is guaranteed as well as spectacular mountain views. And with the Lechtal Guest Card, you can travel free of charge by bus from your accommodation to the cross-country ski trail between Reutte and Steeg.
