Ski touring in the Salzburger Sportwelt

Tour skiing: winter sport away from the slopes

Ski touring is on the rise and rightly so: the challenging ascent is rewarded with a magnificent descent. The tours take you through unspoilt nature so you can experience the scenic beauty of the region in the Salzburger Land from its most impressive side. The marked tours in the ski regions, including the gentle descents, are perfect for beginners. Experienced tour skiers will enjoy the challenging terrain in the back country. Taster courses on technique and avalanche awareness and equipment rental are offered in the on-site sports shops. The most popular destinations include the Sulzenalm/Sulzenschneid, Strimskogel, Bachlalm, Kemadhöhe or Lackenkogel in Altenmarkt.
