Classic cross-country skiing and skating in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See | Lesachtal | Weissensee region

Doing something for body and mind, being active in nature, enjoying views and experiencing variety: Cross-country skiers and biathletes find top conditions for cruising or skating through snow at Nassfeld, in the Gailtal Valley and in the Gitschtal Valley. The Lesachtal Valley, Europe’s most natural valley, can also be explored on cross-country skis. If one believes the Lesachtal Valley locals, then their Grenzlandloipe track must be one of the most beautiful and diverse cross-country ski tracks south of the Alps.

Lake Weissensee is not only popular with the international ice sports scene. The sun-favoured and mist-free valley is a paradise for cross-country skiing – this is underlined by the Carinthian Seal of Quality for cross-country ski tracks and other awards.
