The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena consists of the seven holiday destinations Ehrwald, Lermoos, Berwang, Biberwier, Heiterwang, Bichlbach|Lähn-Wengle & Namlos. The arena sits in the landscape surrounded by the Wetterstein Massif, Sonnenspitze, Grubigstein and Lake Heiterwang. Thus, a winter holiday in this region promises variety and a suitable winter sports programme for ambitious as well as leisure sportsmen and women.
In the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, cross-country skiers enjoy a well-developed network of cross-country ski tracks. Especially attractive is the long season with ideal conditions until spring. A great bonus is that the cross-country ski tracks can be used free of charge.
Additionally, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena were awarded the cross-country skiing quality seal 2021-23 by the state of Tirol. The award is given to cross-country ski-tracks that have an average snow coverage of approximately 10 cm on 80 days. Further, the cross-country ski-tracks must meet quality standards such as signposting, minimum length and width and grooming.
